We have immediate job openings! We develop software for a variety of multimillion-dollar, multiyear R&D satellite ground systems. We employ cutting-edge technology to produce critical national security systems. The work exemplifies applied research at its best. The successful candidate will work on assignments tailored to their experience and interest, including systems engineering, design, development and delivery for:
* mission task planning and scheduling
* command and control
* data acquisition, processing, and exploitation
* digital signal processing
* modeling, analysis, and simulation
* device interfaces
* image processing
* real time and off-line data visualization
* detection, tracking, characterization, and classification algorithms
Required:
* BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or equivalent
* excellent grades
* demonstrated software development skills
* relevant experience in scientific/engineering application software development
* working knowledge/experience with object-oriented software development and UNIX /Linux environments; demonstrated ability to develop and present ideas and results in oral and written form
* ability to obtain a DOE security clearance
Desired:
Desired skills include C++/Java/C, UNIX, Linux, Perl, XML, object-oriented analysis and design, algorithm development, data analysis and data modeling. Previous experience in satellite ground systems, data analysis, data integration, data fusion, data exploitation, or command and control systems are also a plus, but not required.
