Entry Level Software Developer

An opportunity exists for Entry Level C++ and C# Developers within the Chicago Development team. Working very closely with more senior developers, the individual in this role will be responsible for implementing new ideas and further enhancing our in-house developed trading systems. The Entry Level Developer will work with other members of the Development team to build sophisticated tools for our traders to trade securities and derivatives in markets across Asia, Europe and the US, all working towards the same goal: develop the fastest and best trading systems.

Produces the fastest and best trading tools by:

* Gaining an understanding of option pricing theory, market making and trading conditions

* Actively seeking and clarifying product requirements with end users and other knowledgeable staff

* Finding new techniques on how to improve our trading algorithms and systems

* Meeting and exceeding end users expectations in terms of functionality, quality and performance

* Designing and delivering code with automated testing and performance in mind

* Meeting and exceeding the Development Team Leader’s expectations in terms of code/design quality and run-time performance

* Meeting and exceeding end users expectations in terms of functionality, quality and performance
