Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled software developer to drive and direct the integration of our software platform with the core systems of our financial institutions clients. The position will require software development work in a fast-paced, intense environment at a rapidly growing company. Ideal candidates are developers who "live to code and code to live;" they must be passionate about software development. We believe in challenging our developers with large-scale, intellectually stimulating work and rewarding them with very competitive compensation packages. Candidates must have a degree in computer science or a related field with a GPA of at least 3.6.
This position can be based out of our headquarters in Raleigh, NC or our recently opened New York City office. Additional responsibilities for those based in New York will include helping to launch and grow the office in a start-up type atmosphere but with the support of an established company.
Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and maintain world-class web applications in ASP.NET
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications
• Perform database analysis and migrations with various databases
• Develop product specifications, build prototypes, and write test plans
• Test and fix bugs for new and existing applications
• Individuals in this role are expected to work at least 60 hours per week
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum GPA in undergraduate degree of 3.6
• Hands on experience with C#/.NET and multiple databases (SQL server, Oracle)
• Experience with computer networks and knowledge of protocols (http, https, etc.) and security (firewalls, proxy servers)
• Knowledge of report writers and web services or integration with third-party API’s is preferred
• Ability to deliver commercial strength software products to be used by thousands of users
• Exceptional communication skills and strong attention to detail
