Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled software developer to help us leverage and build upon our core expert system and suites of financial analysis products. The position will require software development work in a fast-paced, intense environment at a rapidly growing company. Ideal candidates are developers who "live to code and code to live;" they must be passionate about software development. We believe in challenging our developers with large-scale, intellectually stimulating work and rewarding them with very competitive compensation packages. Candidates must have a degree in computer science with a GPA of at least 3.7.
This position can be based out of our headquarters in Raleigh, NC or our recently opened New York City office. Additional responsibilities for those based in New York will include helping to launch and grow the office in a start-up type atmosphere but with the support of an established company.
Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and maintain world-class web applications in ASP.NET
• Conduct focus groups, develop product specifications, build prototypes, and write test plans
• Test and fix bugs for new and existing applications
• Individuals in this role are expected to work at least 60 hours per week
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum GPA in undergraduate degree of 3.7
• Experience in web application development and Object-Oriented Design and Programming is required
• Hands-on experience with the following web technologies is preferred: ASP.NET, C#, SQL, VBA, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML
• Ability to deliver commercial strength software products to be used by thousands of users
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
