Engineer, Product Support Team

Palantir’s Product Support Engineers are comprehensive product experts. We collaborate with our developers, quality engineers, business teams, and customers, and continually build upon our deep technical knowledge to improve our skill in every application and layer of our entire suite of products. We anticipate questions, solve problems, and help our forward deployed engineering teams and customers turn their abstract goals into reality. With our accumulated experience and insight into the Palantir platform, we have a major impact on the direction of our core products. Product Support at Palantir is about solving important problems for real people. We are integral to the success of Palantir’s deployments.
Responsibilities:
* Become a Palantir Product Expert
* Visit customer sites to increase the depth of real world product knowledge and use cases
* Independently spot and resolve software/server issues
* Oversee and safeguard the integrity of robust enterprise software deployments
* Be responsible for the end-to-end quality of the product
* Collaborate with the Forward Deployed Engineering and Product teams in the development and design of creative solutions for the field
* Coordinate and manage customer contact for critical product issues
* Create articles and code samples for Knowledge Base and DevZone
* Ensure the success of our product by keeping Palantir running across the globe
Requirements:
* B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
* Killer problem solving skills, MacGyver-like instincts a plus
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast moving environment with dynamic objectives
* Ability to think creatively and define product and customer needs
* Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision
* Excellent teamwork and written/verbal communication skills
