Advisor: David Cash
Before starting my PhD, I graduated from RIT with a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics. At UChicago, most of my time has been spent working on cryptography with my advisor, David Cash. However, I have a broad interest in many areas of CS.
When I’m not doing research, I like learning about other academic fields, reading fiction, running along Lake Michigan, and playing games.
My research is focused on building and evaluating secure outsourced computation. I have a lot of interest in oblivious RAM, private information retrieval, structured encryption, and other related research. Other problems that interest me are time-memory trade-offs, quantum cryptography, and complexity theory.
